Theo Pauline Nestor

Nestor's memoir, How To Sleep Alone in a King Size Bed (Crown, 2008), was a Kirkus Reviews Top Picks for Reading Groups and is being translated into German and Portuguese. Ladies' Home Journal calls the book, “heartbreakingly honest, wryly funny and revelatory.” Her fiction and creative nonfiction have been published in a number of places including the New York Times, Under The Sun, Alligator Juniper, Phoebe, AustinMama, and Brain, Child, and has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize twice. She has taught writing at a number of colleges and universities including Cornish College of the Arts and the University of Washington, and she was awarded the 2009 UW Extension Teaching Excellence Award for Arts and Humanities.
