This program is designed for mid-career physicians and other clinical/medical practitioners seeking advanced preparation for a management or executive position in health care.
Program participants gain valuable knowledge and skills in areas such as planning, organizing and implementing programs designed to address the needs, quality and cost-effectiveness of patient care within the rapidly changing health care environment.
Instructors are UW faculty and leading industry professionals, selected for their expertise and specialty knowledge.

You are required to spend time outside the classroom—including additional reading, case study assignments and instructor-directed activities.
This program is approved by the Graduate Program in Health Services Administration, Department of Health Services, University of Washington—nationally accredited by
the Accrediting Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME).

The University of Washington School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The University of Washington School of Medicine designates this educational activity for a maximum of 120 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
