Harvey Arnone
Senior GIS Analyst, Seattle Public Utilities
Harvey has worked as a GIS Analyst for the City of Seattle since graduating with a B.A in Geography from the University of Washington in 1992. He currently supervises a team of eight GIS Analyst/Developers at the City of Seattle. Harvey and his team work on a variety of Utility and City projects ranging from geographic analysis, to GIS software development, to support for engineering, planning and emergency response functions.
Jaime Crawford
Crawford is the Deputy GIS Practice Director for CH2M HILL's Enterprise Management Solutions Business Group. She is responsible for GIS project planning and management, business development, strategic direction for GIS services, staff development, and training. Prior to working at CH2M HILL Jaime worked for ESRI for five years as an account manager. She holds a Masters of Science degree in Environmental Science with an emphasis on GIS and Remote Sensing.
Stephen Hyde
GIS Instructor, Department of Geography, University of Washington
Hyde has served as instructor and teaching assistant for many of the advanced GIS classes offered by the UW Department of Geography, including classes on thematic mapping, cartographic principles, geographic information analysis and collaborative approaches to GIS project management. Before returning to the University, he worked as a GIS technician for Seattle Public Utilities. Hyde received his master's in geography in 2004.
Tom Nolan
Corporate GIS Manager, City of Seattle
Nolan has more than 10 years of experience leading the development of Seattle's state-of-the-art geographic information system. He heads a staff of over 40 GIS professionals, surveyors and engineers. In addition, Nolan oversees GIS operations at Seattle Public Utilities, regional provider of water, sewer and solid waste services to approximately 1.3 million customers. He is also responsible for providing GIS products and services to a variety of customers, such as elected city officials, Seattle Police and Fire, Seattle Transportation, the City Attorney's Office and Sound Transit, as well as private survey, engineering, architecture and development firms. Nolan holds a M.A. in geography/geographic information systems from the University of Washington.
Fred Rowley
City GIS Coordinator, City of Seattle
Rowley has promoted and applied geographic information systems technologies in a range of contexts over the past 15 years. As a senior software engineer in the private sector, he developed applications and components to integrate GIS with business systems. As GIS Manager at the City of Shoreline, and City GIS Coordinator at the City of Seattle, he sought to enhance enterprise information systems by making GIS more broadly accessible. He is currently responsible for developing the City of Seattle's central web GIS capabilities. Rowley received his Masters degree in Geography from the University of Washington.
Toby Semroc
Sr. GIS Analyst-Developer, City of Seattle
Semroc has more than 10 years experience in GIS Application development. Throughout his GIS career he has done everything from working as a GPS data collector mapping utility lines, developing and maintaining city and county land-base cadastral data, working with police and fire departments to analyze crime data, and fire truck response routing, administering GIS server software and developing web-based GIS applications. He currently is a Sr. GIS Analyst-Developer specializing in web-based GIS application development at the City of Seattle. Semroc has his masters in Geography with a specialization in GIS from the University at Albany.
