How can you enter or advance in this exciting, high-growth field? This five-course credit sequence provides an overview of the fundamental areas of construction management. Develop and expand your managerial skills in courses created and approved by the UW College of Architecture and Urban Planning. Representatives of top businesses such as Turner Construction, GLY Construction, Lydig Construction and HNTB Corp. serve on the program's advisory board.
Instructors are leading professionals currently active in construction management, or UW faculty specializing in the field. Individuals who have undergraduate degrees in non-construction disciplines can use this certificate program to meet some prerequisites for admission to the UW master's program in construction management.
Formats and Credits
- This format includes two evenings per week on the UW campus, Seattle.
- Participants receive 16 credits and a certificate upon completion of the program. A permanent transcript of coursework is kept.
- Participants have access to resources of University of Washington libraries while enrolled in this program.
